Description
The gravity catch to concrete is a similar principle as the mortise gravity catch but can concreted into the ground, drive way or installed into slabs.
A gravity catch is a closing catch for a gate which remains shut under gravity.
This gravity catch is specifically designed to be fitted into concrete.
The catch has a weight which hold the catch down against the brickwork or wall. When a gate closes onto it, the gate rail pushes the latch down until it passes the catch when it clicks back up holding the gate shut under gravity.
We also stock a gravity catch to mortise which is the same principle catch but it is fitted through a hole in a timber post.
