Tate Fencing Ltd – a family run fencing installation business started by Peter Tate from a small yard in Tunbridge Wells.
Today it is run by two of Peter’s sons, Neil & Gary – who all have first-hand experience within their fencing & automation fields.
There are three divisions to the Tate Fencing family;
- Tate Fencing Sales for the sale of every day fencing materials & garden products including timber buildings and driveway gates, with three branches in Kent and East Sussex.
- Tate & Tonbridge Fencing for the installation of both commercial and domestic fencing, covering much of the South East of England.
- Tate & Tonbridge Automation for the installation and automation of gates for residential, commercial, and industrial markets, including schools and local authorities.
With years of combined experience, Tate Fencing offers the complete package for our customers; with experienced sales and install teams on hand to advise customers at every stage of their fencing journey.
We manufacture many of our own products on-site to ensure the high quality of all our goods. This also enables us to produce one-off designs for our customers who require something ‘non standard’.
We have our own onsite treatment plant where we tanalise all our timber using the next generation of TANALITH™ wood preservative. This is the toughest tanalith available and incorporates the latest BARamine™ technology. We make sure all our timber goes through the correct treatment process, and is treated to the correct level.
