Description
Pair of Softwood Swish Top Windsor Gates — Affordable, Customisable Gate Solution for Your Driveway or Garden
Transform your driveway or garden entrance with the Pair of Softwood Swish Top Windsor Gates from Tate Fencing — a refined, budget‑friendly timber gate solution offering traditional style, reliable strength, and flexible customization to suit your property.
Quality Softwood Construction with Classic Design
Each gate pair is crafted with a sturdy mortised and tenoned softwood frame, designed to provide a stable, long‑lasting structure. The gates are clad in tongue‑and‑groove (TGV) softwood boards, forming a solid lower panel that ensures privacy and security, while the open‑top spindle upper section adds a light, welcoming appearance and classic charm. The signature swish‑top Windsor profile lends your entrance an elegant, traditional look — ideal for homes where first impressions matter.
Customisable and Made-to-Measure
We understand that every entrance is different. That’s why these softwood Swish Top Windsor gates are available in a range of standard sizes, but can also be made to measure to fit non-standard openings. Whether you’re sizing for a narrow garden gate or a wider driveway entrance, your gates will be tailored to fit perfectly — giving you a seamless, professional finish without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
Cost‑Effective & Weather‑Ready
Softwood gates are often more affordable than hardwood alternatives, making them an excellent choice if you seek value without compromising on appearance or utility.
Treated softwood is commonly used for outdoor gates, offering reasonable weather resistance when properly maintained.
With periodic treatment using exterior wood oil or preservative, you can protect your gate from moisture, UV exposure, and general wear — helping ensure longevity and durability.
Convenient Add-ons & Complete Gate Solutions
Please note: the price covers the pair of gates only — posts, fittings, stops, or fillets are not included. However, matching gate posts and all necessary fittings are available from stock, making it easy to complete your installation with coordinated materials.
The Smart Choice for Your Home Entrance
If you are seeking a gate that delivers classic design, practicality, and value — whether for a driveway or garden — the Pair of Softwood Swish Top Windsor Gates offers a balanced, customisable, and cost‑effective solution. With the right care and periodic maintenance, these gates can provide many years of reliable service while enhancing the curb appeal and security of your property.
