Step 1 – Ensure the store has a level & sufficient base in place. A concrete or sleeper base is ideal. Position the floor ensuring it is level.
Step 2 – With the floor in place, each panel can now be positioned & screwed together starting with the back panel.
Step 3 – The side panels sit on top of the floor panel. The cladding over hangs the floor panel and finishes flush to the edge. Screw panel together through the framework. Repeat for second side panel.
Step 4 – Once both sides are in place, you should have something that looks like this.
Step 5 -A frame, the size of the side panels, is provided which is to be fitted and screwed into the middle framework of the back.
Step 6 – The last frame panel to be fitted and screwed into place is the front panel. The panels are screwed together through the framework.
Step 7 – You have been provided with 12 x shelf supports that can now be fixed at the same level height on the inside frame. (4 supports per shelf – 3 shelves in total.)
Step 8 – These supports should be screwed into 4 positions (corners) for each shelf in your chosen side. Ensure that they are all the same height for a level shelf.
Step 9 – Once supports are secure, the shelves can be placed into position & screwed into framework.
Step 10 – Roll the felt across the roof leaving approx. 60mm overhang. Advisable to felt this panel before fitting.
Step 11 – Fold the felt neatly at the corner and tack along the roof edge.
Step 12 – The side edging boards are then cut to fit and nailed to sandwich the felt along the roof edge.
Step 13 – The excess front and rear edging boards are trimmed with a handsaw for a perfect fit.
Step 14 – The pre-felted roof panel can now be fitted into position on top of installed framework.
Step 15 – Four lengths of corner fillet are to be nailed to the front & back of store.
Step 16 – You are supplied with 3 pairs of hinges that must be fitted in a symetrical way on both doors. Secure into framework.
Step 17 – Provided with this store are two brenton bolts nfor securing the doors in a closed position.
Step 18 – Fit the bolt section at the height required on the door. Fit the ‘keep’ section on the central frame ensuring the two elements fit correctly. Repeat on 2nd door symetrically.
Step 19 – Your bin store is now complete & ready for use!
